Winter Wonderland
This is one way to get yourself some Christmas spirit by going along to the Winter Wonderland in the heart of the city centre. There’ll be the obligatory lights, and some beautifully crafted wooden walkways including some great characters and an impressive Christmas tree. There’ll also be a bar in the Bavarian style, a grill, festive food and drink and all served in a festively inspired wooden chalet.
Ice Rink
Of course Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without an ice rink, and this year Stoke have gone all out to make it as impressive as possible. There’ll be plenty of room for everyone to have a bash and don’t worry if you’re not an Olympic ice skater, the whole idea is to have fun, so have a go.
Pantomime
As usual there’ll be a pantomime for the kids and Stoke is no different, it’ll have its own pantomime for everyone to enjoy. This year is no exception, it’s Aladdin and stars Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson. There’s romance, a flying carpet, a genie and no panto would be complete without an evil sorcerer.
Market
There’ll be over 100 stalls this year at Stoke’s Christmas market. It’ll stretch from the King’s Hall to the Town Hall. There’ll be everything from unique handmade crafts and clothes for adults and children. There’ll be the usual specialist foods with beautifully made products from locally sourced materials, such as glass, ceramics, textiles and leather, so there’s something for everyone.

After you’ve had a whizz round the ice rink, you’ve eaten your way through the Christmas Markets and you’ve drained your glass of mulled wine, why not make your way down to our Escape Rooms in Stoke?
